From the stunning Mediterranean-style mansion itself to charming outbuildings and garden areas located throughout its 170+ acres, Villa Montalvo offers multiple catering venues to use individually or progressively during the day/evening, accommodating groups from eight to 1,100. Tables, chairs, and market umbrellas are included with all facility rentals.
Perfect for intimate parties or smaller corporate meetings, the Cottage is suitable for 2-14 guests. A catered lunch or dinner can be served inside or in the outdoor garden. The cottage can be rented in combination with other venue spaces.
Built in the early 20th Century, the historic Villa Montalvo is a gorgeous Italianate sandstone mansion adorned with one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted accents and period details. From the main hall and grand staircase to the dining room and professional caterer’s kitchen, a variety of rooms on both the ground and second floors can be used in combination for all kinds of corporate or private events. The villa is surrounded by a sweeping, elegant veranda that can accommodate up to 300 guests for a seated outdoor dinner. Adjacent the main hall, the Spanish courtyard is also a popular space for smaller outdoor celebrations.
Full of versatile presentation and performance options for businesses, non-profits, and other community organizations, Villa Montalvo offers the both the indoor Carriage House Theatre as well as the outdoor Garden Theatre. Fully equipped with professional A/V capabilities, the formal Carriage House Theatre seats 300 people and includes an adjacent Project Space Gallery for reception/meeting needs. Framed against a landscape of towering trees and outdoor sculptures, the Garden Theatre’s outdoor setting can accommodate performances with audiences as small as 100 or as large as 1,000.
Perfect for picnics and other outdoor events, Villa Montalvo’s sweeping Great Lawn can accommodate up to 2,000 guests and can also be tented. For more intimate occasions, the charming Oval Garden can be used for cocktail receptions, seated dinners and more.
