A confection of Victorian architecture, the Conservatory of Flowers is the oldest wood and glass plant conservatory in America – and of the most unique catering venues in San Francisco.
A confection of Victorian architecture, the Conservatory of Flowers is the oldest wood and glass plant conservatory in America – and of the most unique catering venues in San Francisco.
Located in Golden Gate Park, this historic gem brings the outdoors in, surrounding event guests with lush plant life and the architecture of days gone by.
Guests can wander through five different galleries that each feature a different climate region, from a gorgeous pointed cupola housing the enormous century-old philodendron, to a collection of delicate high-altitude orchids, to an impressive water lily pond.
In 2008, the Conservatory of Flowers added the Orchid Pavilion, a wood-floored event space with cathedral ceilings that can seat up to 165 people (150 with dance floor). Larger parties can easily expand to tented reception areas on the lawn or platform directly in front of the conservatory. Additional reserved parking is available in the Dahlia garden.
Flower lovers and historians alike will love the beauty and grandeur of this beautiful and unique historic landmark of San Francisco.
Global Gourmet Catering is proud to be a preferred caterer for the Conservatory of Flowers!
