Moved in 2013 to its new location at Pier 15 on the Embarcadero, the eco-friendly building now boasts a LEED-Platinum certification and more then three times the space as its original location.
From a seated dinner for 400 to a standing reception for 3,500, the Exploratorium is an inspired venue for any type of business or personal event: formal dinners, cocktail parties, product launches, corporate galas, interactive presentations, green events and more.
A collage of over 600 science, art, and human perception exhibits, the Exploratorium offers hands-on installations that explore everything from biology and physics to culture, cognition, and visual perception.
The Exploratorium is divided into separate galleries that contain a variety of different exhibits; galleries are available to rent either individually or in combination. Corporate or business events can further benefit from the Kanbar Forum, with state-of-the art sound and projection capabilities.
Breathtaking views of San Francisco and the bay, from both the Observatory Gallery and adjacent Terrace, along with large picture windows in the East Gallery make this a spectacular waterfront setting for special events.
