Say hello to Chef Douglas Keane (winner of Top Chef Masters, and executive chef/owner of two-star Cyrus restaurant, and HBG – Healdsburg Bar and Grill); Chef Ryan Scott (Emmy award winner for his series “Food Rush,” and over 200 appearances on the Today Show); Chef Tanya Holland (executive chef/owner of Brown Sugar Kitchen and Top Chef contestant); Chef Ricardo Zarate (founding chef/owner of celebrated LA Peruvian restaurants Picca, Mo-Chica, and Paiche); and wine enthusiast Leslie Sbrocco (three-time Emmy award and James Beard award winner, and host of her new PBS series 100 Days, Drinks, Dishes, and Destinations).
The Guest Chef Series is focused on the latest trend-setting cuisine of California, delivered to attendees through a live virtual broadcast presentation platform (Zoom, Webex, etc.) and hosted by Global Gourmet Catering.
Our notable Guest Chefs offer those in attendance a more personal culinary introduction to the style of food they are well known for, and the opportunity to cook along with them, learn, and receive a more personal introduction to the people behind the cuisine – all in a fun, interactive, educational, and personal way.
Each Guest Chef prepares two recipes, and we work collaboratively to develop an “at home kit” to be sent to all the class attendees with ingredients, portions, containers, recipe cards, and more. All recipes use equipment and tools readily available to the home chefs participating.
