It’s not surprising when you have a gracious and gorgeous couple like Jillian and Vander and pair that with the amazing styling of Cassandra of Downey Street Events, that their wedding would be magical and picked up on top wedding blogs like 100 Layer Cake.
Their wedding day was perfect at HammerSky Vineyards in Paso Robles, California. After their touching ceremony, guests were welcomed into cocktail hour by a refreshing Iberian Coast Tapas Station, with an inspired menu featuring the couple’s favorites ceviches: White Gulf Prawns, Farallon Islands Snapper and Ahi Tuna with Cuban spices along with a selection of tapenades and crostini. Watermelon and Burrata Caprese, Inside Out BLTs, Mini Croque Madames and a Micro Guinnes Pub Pie were tray passed to guests.
For the dinner menu, guests enjoyed their choice of Grilled Filet of Beef, Pan Seared California White Sea Bass or Stinging Nettle Gnocchi. Everyone danced the night away and enjoyed a true San Francisco treat with It’s It Ice Cream Sandwiches along with a dessert table filled with Bread Pudding with Guinness Gelato, Strawberry-Lemon Verbena Panna Cotta and Dark Chocolate, Caramel and Maldon Salt Canvas Tarts.
The wedding danced into the night and sent the couple off into wedded bliss with sparklers. It was such a pleasure to cater an event for such a wonderful couple and we are so thrilled to see it on on the 100 Layer Cake blog! (Make sure to watch the beautiful video at the end of the post!)
