When one of the biggest general contracting and construction management companies wants to throw a daytime soirée for 1,200 of their employees – you get excited!
From building and designing apartment complexes to campus headquarters, zoos, and literally everything in between, our client manages some of the most unique and challenging construction projects in the country. And they definitely know how to create fun environments for their teams and clients along the way.
This latest celebration was in honor of completing a gorgeous new build for a Mountain View tech company. A project that took eight years to finalize deserves to be celebrated!
Global Gourmet’s culinary and design teams worked closely with their planning team to create a truly memorable afternoon – complete with a mariachi band to kick things off, festival-style food tents, a gourmet ice cream bar, and an open air photo booth provided by SnapFiesta.
Some of our Chef’s favorite items from the day include the Chicken In Waffle Cone Station, Havana Parfaits, and Farm to Festival mini plates. Not only were these filling and delicious, but a huge hit with the guests! Another fun (and eco-friendly) touch was that over 400 succulents in mini pots were used not only as decor throughout the event, but were also given to the attendees as gifts to take home.
Overall the guests felt the day was really special because as a crew, they typically leave a job site at the close of a project and due to the nature of the business, never really have a chance to return or to celebrate such a huge milestone. We were honored to be a part of such a monumental day and look forward to what they build next!
