The International Special Events Society (ISES) is a network of over 7,200 professionals in the event industry that allows for businesses to increase their education, professional development and business growth opportunities.
The ISES Northern California Chapter recently held their annual gala where we had the opportunity to socialize with our peers and industry colleagues as well as showcase our food and beverage creations. It was a glamorous and visually stunning night that took place at the beautiful Herbst Pavilion at the Fort Mason Center. The night included a band that filled the space with the sounds and lyrics of the best songs of yesterday and today, a silent auction, food and beverage stations from leading industry caterers, and electric, neon dancers who closed out the night on a colorful, lit-up dance floor.
As one of the top catering companies invited to provide food and beverages for the guests, our chefs served up three tasty dishes that were a huge hit. Shrimp and Grits with Rock Shrimp and Andouille Étouffée, K&J’s Yellow Nectarine and Burrata Salad and our Idli Fries that left a delicious aroma wherever they went that had heads turning.
In addition, we had our fully stocked bar where our bartenders mixed up two signature GGC cocktails; The Southern Gentleman featuring Bourbon and Brown Sugar Syrup and the Summer Swirl with Vodka, Fresh Lemonade and a hint of Rosemary.
The ISES gala is a great event every year but this year they truly outdid themselves. We were so proud to be a part of this wonderful function again and cannot wait to see what the ISES team comes up with next year!
