We are thrilled to report that our Global Gourmet Catering website is a Silver Davey Winner – awarded by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts during the 13th annual Davey Awards.
With nearly 4,000 entries from across the U.S. and around the world, the Davey Awards honors the finest creative work from the best small agencies, firms, and companies worldwide. The Davey Awards is judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) — a 700+ member organization of leading professionals from various visual arts disciplines, dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.
The website redesign came about because we needed a fresh, new, modern look to reinforce our brand and core strengths – restaurant-caliber cuisine, flawless service and custom design – among our discerning customers. We also wanted to merge Global Gourmet Catering’s separate corporate and wedding sites, along with our company blog, into one integrated website that brings everything together and can work effectively across all desktop and mobile platforms.
Our FINE agency created a stunning new, content rich, fully-responsive website that incorporated full-bleed imagery, modern typography, and a reserved color palette to create an elegant aesthetic. It showcases food as an experience through the use of stunning new photography, while also offering a more streamlined user experience, state-of-the-art venue searching and online booking capabilities, and a unified, holistic brand experience through a refreshed logo and identity. The site’s information architecture includes paths for both corporate and weddings users, but grants access to shared content through thoughtful organization and clear navigation.

Our online booking capabilities were further enriched by the later addition of an exclusive new feature on our website’s Find a Venue Search Tool, giving busy meeting, event, and wedding planners the ability to place a hold or book a venue online, anywhere and in real-time, right from our site, in conjunction with FIRST-HOLD.
