What do President Obama, Kanye West and the Golden State Warriors have in common? They were all at the Democratic National Committee Fundraiser held over the weekend at The Warfield in San Francisco. We had the great pleasure of catering this event and got to meet and chat with the A-List attendees like Kanye West and Steph Curry – who were incredibly nice and even posed for pictures with us!

This was a morning event so we served a breakfast consisting of assorted savory and sweet bagels and housemade pastries. In addition, every guest received a Breakfast Bento Box containing a fluffy Tortilla Espanola (Spanish style Omelet with Shaved Ham), Seasonal Fruit, Herb Confit Marbled Potatoes and Greek Yogurt Parfait.

President Obama gave a wonderful and heart-felt speech that garnered roaring applause from the audience. In his typical fashion, he also cracked a few jokes. He told self-proclaimed future presidential candidate Kanye West, “Saying you have a beautiful dark twisted fantasy… That’s what is known as ‘off message’ in politics, you can’t say something like that.” (He was referring to the title of Kanye’s fifth album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.)
