The Green Room is located on the second floor of the War Memorial Veteran’s Building, which also houses Herbst Theatre and is next door to the Opera House in San Francisco.

The Green Room is a classic San Francisco event venue built in the 1930’s with grand columns, electric chandeliers and a built-in bar. The walls are painted green and gold that compliment the entire main room. Outside, the Loggia encompasses the length of the Green Room and it overlooks beautiful City Hall. Truly a hidden gem in San Francisco!
The Green Room is a wonderful place for seated and standing corporate events. Seated catered dinners between 80-180 and receptions up to 200 are ideal here. Tenting and heating the Loggia nicely expands the space’s capacity as well. In-house equipment is available for additional rental fees.
The Green Room welcomes corporate events without loud amplified music year-round. Other types of private receptions and parties are welcomed during the months of July and August. The Green Room is otherwise booked for performing arts, public interest and community events.

This beautiful historic space is located in the War Memorial Building conveniently located in downtown San Francisco for catered events. It has a great outdoor balcony that looks onto San Francisco City Hall.
